kitties love a freshly made bed, don't they? i just bought an extra large heating pad for the foot of my bed. i put my cold feet under the heating pad, and es gets on top of it. double warmth!
Corie, the salad is easy: salad greens, pear slices, blue cheese, and toasted walnuts. I blew off the walnut oil/lemon vinaigrette and made this a regular vinaigrette with 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/2 tsp dijon mustard, 2 tsp shallots, 1/2-3/4 cup olive oil, 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper to taste. Whisk together the vinegar, salt, and mustard, drizzle in the oil as you whisk, add shallot, and pepper. That's it! I used about 1 1/2 pears for 2 people. Depends on how much salad you want.

ReplyDeleteCorie, I said blue cheese, but you can use gorgonzola or blue.
